Yes. In most cases, a spare tire is not a problem. The MotoTote is adjustable up to 20 inches from the hitch pin to the center of the motorcycle or scooter. Vertically, the tire prints will be about at the height of the top of the hitch receiver tube. The widest part of the bike is usually the handlebars, which will be off to the side of the spare tire.
If additional distance is required we recommend adding our extended receiver tube, adjustable for up to 31 inches from the hitch pin to the center of the bike.
